Warner TV sets Premiere Date for New TV Series "Krypton" - 22 March, 9 PM

Bring up the name Krypton, and the first thing that comes to mind is Superman aka Kal-el. The Superman legend is very well known by now, but do we know what happened in the House of El during his grandpapa's days?

Developed by David S. Goyer and Damian Kindler, a new superhero TV series "Krypton" aims to expand the Superman mythology, and explore new canon about one of the most prominent noble houses of Superman's home planet. The events happening in the series will unfold before Krypton's fateful and explosive destruction.

Seg-el (Cameron Cuffe), the grandfather of Kal-el, is faced with a difficult situation. The House of El is being ostracized, and Krypton's leadership is in disarray. He has to find ways to save his family honour so that Kal-el's future is secure. But that might mean that the planet of Krypton may have to be destroyed, causing his kind to be annihilated.

Adam Driver Reveals Kylo-Ren's Exercise Regiment at Q&A Session, Coronado Naval Base

One thing that stands out about the new Supreme Leader Kylo-Ren is his luscious, helmet-proof, raven-hued hair. It is the kind of hair that makes many Star Wars fans, including Red Dot Diva, to wonder - what kind of shampoo does Kylo-Ren use?

Adam Driver, the talented actor who plays Kylo-Ren with such intensity, also sports his locks long and loose most of the time. He made a rare live appearance (sans goatee!) at the "Logan Lucky" screening held at Coronado Naval Base's Lowry Theatre on 24 February 2018.

When asked about his preferred haircare product, he said, "whatever's left from the film set". Someone then suggested it was Bumble & Bumble shampoo & conditioner. So, hmmm, the Dark Side must smell really nice. *sniff sniff*

The Q&A ran longer than expected, with Adam Driver extending his allocated time slot twice, as he patiently fielded as many questions as he could from the fans. Most questions have already been asked before in various "Logan Lucky", "Paterson" and Star Wars promos leading up the release of "The Force Awakens" and "The Last Jedi", but there were a few humorous gems from Adam, who was in a very good mood that night.

It's Chaos in Westworld Season 2 - Premiering 23 April 2018 on HBO Asia

The violent, dystopian world of make-believe in HBO's award-winning series "Westworld" was one of the most unforgettable, provocative shows in 2017.

The scifi show about the complex interactions between humans and androids in a futuristic theme park, had Red Dot Diva at the edge of her seat as plot twists and surprises were slowly revealed layer after layer in each episode.

Credit had to go to the stellar cast of actors consisting of Anthony Hopkins, Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, James Marsden, Tessa Thompson, Clifton Collins Jr, and many more. Their performances, especially the actors who played the hosts, were nuanced and haunting.

Season 1 of HBO's original series "Westworld" wrapped up with a satisfying yet tantalizing finale that offered up a few twists (one in particular) that most fans did not expect. After those last shocking few seconds, Red Dot Diva has so many more questions about Ford, the future of Delos Incorporated now that the hosts are awake, and the repercussions of Dolores' and Maeve's actions.

Some reprieve from all that unresolved suspense came in the form of a Season 2 sneak peek released at SDCC 2016. The teaser showed a series of bloody massacres happening in the park and in Delos, with a vengeful Dolores going on a rampage.

SRT's Shakespeare In the Park Returns in May 2018 with Julius Caesar

In 2017, something was sorely missing in the local theatre scene. Due to the lack of funds, Singapore Repertory Theatre's (SRT) Shakespeare in the Park was cancelled.

The large-scale production held at the historical Fort Canning Park has never failed to provide memorable moments from the Bard's plays, including A Midsummer Night's Dream, Twelfth Night, Macbeth, and the Tempest. Red Dot Diva has attended all of them, except for the first one, Hamlet.

Being part of Shakespeare in the Park is a wonderful and magical experience. When you are sitting out on the lawn and enjoying a picnic under the stars, one is easily enraptured by SRT's brilliant performance of Shakespearean stories that have stood the test of time.

Despite the financial obstacles, SRT was undeterred. Last year, the theatre company started a crowdfunding campaign for the next Shakespeare in the Park. Thanks to several generous supporters, SRT has enough funds to kick off the production, and Shakespeare in the Park will be BACK in May 2018! *punches fist in air!*
