Actors Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, Jessica Chastain and director Cedric Nicolas-Troyan had already arrived on the island a couple of days earlier, and were attending the red carpet on the evening of 3 April.
Out of the lot, Jessica Chastain was the most social media-active one, and posted a few photos on her Instagram about her mini adventures, as she took in the sights, smells and tastes of Red Dot Island. She was also even more petite than she looked on screen!
Red Dot Diva decided not to get into the action at RWS last weekend because she really need a rest. The weather's heat and humidity were getting to her, and it is at moments like these that she feels as if her old bones are getting creakier. The crazed intensity that will happen when the stars walk down the red carpet would have been too much for her. So, she hid in her cubby-hole at home and watched her social media timeline, rejoicing with her friends as they got to meet their favourite celebrities.
From most of the tweets that Red Dot Diva spotted, Jessica Chastain seemed to be especially gracious with the fans who had been waiting for more than 8 hours at RWS to see her as well as the other celebrities. As much as she could, she took her time with them. Her eyes bright and with a smile as welcoming as her charisma, she signed autographs and took several selfies.
One of Red Dot Diva's geeky acquaintances Milodrums waited for several hours at RWS. Milodrums and her friends had some wonderful encounters with Chris Hemsworth and Jessica Chastain that day.
