Right in the heart of Hollywood is one of Los Angeles' oldest cemetery. The 114 year-old cemetery is aptly named Hollywood Forever, for it was the chosen resting place by many starry VIPs.
No surprise there since the site is just next to Paramount Studios. And
in addition, when one stands on the main driveway looking back to the
front gates, the iconic Hollywood sign could clearly be seen.
Having a morbid interest in cemeteries (the older, the better), Red Dot Diva roped in good friend Chelle for a morning walk at Hollywood Forever last week. With the help of a $5 map purchased from the flower shop, the two set off to hunt down a few famous graves.

Supanova Perth 2013 Part 1 - The Infectious Exuberance of George Perez
Things all pop-culture, geek and comics have been descending like hot lava in Australia for the last couple of years.
As a convention organizer, Supanova has been able to draw in the big name guests and crowds across the continent. The most recent Supanova convention was held at the Claremont Showgrounds in Perth.
Red Dot Diva's Aussie contact and hardcore geek/collector Luke Caporn attended the convention and has submitted an interesting and detailed report of the rundown of events.
Luke's report will be featured in four parts. (Yes, it's that detailed! But Red Dot Diva guarantees that it will be an enjoyable read!)
Here goes!

SDCC 2013: An X-Files Reunion?? Deny Everything!
Comic-Con 2013 took an unexpectedly darker turn as conspiracies abound recently about an X-Files 20th Anniversary Reunion to be hosted by a publication company called TV Guide.
There was a wave of murmurings about the special event, with several witnesses claiming that an announcement about it, had been printed and issued by TV Guide.
Later, "confirmations" were cited by several watchdog websites, bloggers and journalists, including leaked details about the momentous occasion, which will probably overtake last year's "Firefly" Reunion.
It all sounds unbelievably epic for it to be true.
Consider these facts, Red Dot Diva cautions:
