It's a pity Red Dot Islanders do not get the chance to view the interesting HBO Game of Thrones Exhibition which features various props, costumes and weapons used in the international award-winning hit TV show based on George R. R. Martin's book series.
The exhibition has been touring only 5 major cities (Toronto, New York, Amsterdam, Belfast and Sao Paulo) recently. In fact, no Asian cities were listed on the travelling exhibition's itinerary.
However, Red Dot Diva is pleased to learn that HBO Asia will be spoiling local viewers with a taste of Westeros, by presenting a special "Game of Thones" Art Exhibition. The art exhibition - the first ever of its kind in Red Dot Island - will feature works by local-based artists kittozutto, PHUNK and Roy Poh, as well as a range of posters from Mondo that include inspirations by well-known artists like JC Richard, Kilian Eng, Ken Taylor and Richey Beckett.
If any "Game of Thones" fans would like to snag a little of their favourite House back home, limited edition prints of the local artists’ art will be on sale at S$50 each. And if you are feeling much richer than that, the art pieces are also going on auction throughout the duration of the exhibition. Proceeds will be donated to the Design Society scholarship for design students.

The art exhibition will be held from 6 to 13 April (11 am to 7 pm daily) at the Luxe Art Museum at Handy Road, near Cathay Building.
And best of all, admission to the art exhibition is free!
What a great way to celebrate the premiere of Season 3 in this region! The new season will begin airing on HBO Asia channel, from 20 April, 9 pm.
