The latest battle between the Rebellion and the Empire is coming soon, and Star Wars can be a part of it at Vivocity's Central Court B, Level 1 from 28 November to 18 December 2016!
The mall is hosting an interactive event leading up to the premiere of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story". According to a full-page ad published in The Sunday Times' Life Section (dated 27 November 2016), there will a list of very fun and immersive activities in store!
1. Ogle at a 8-metre tall AT-AT Walker at the event.
Red Dot Diva is not sure if it's a similar At-At that she saw at Star Wars Celebration Europe. However, since this is to promote "Rogue One", it would most likely be the version of all-terrain vehicle was shown in the movie's trailer, which are "not, technically, AT-ATs" as tweeted by Lucasfilm's Pablo Hidalgo. They are AT-ACTs, which are larger and used for transporting heavy equipment or ammunition.
2. Marvel at the Life-sized Death Troopers on Display
From the trailer, Red Dot Diva thinks the ominous looking, black suited, elite Death Troopers are AWESOME. (It's already common knowledge, right? She loves the baddies. *squeal*) A troop of them on display will be a sight to behold, and great for all those selfies!
3. Fight A Battle as a Commander of The Rebellion or The Empire
Choose a side and play in a battle game to defend your base. There are characters from the Star Wars universe as each level is completed, which can be used to fight in the battle too.
4. Fly an X-Wing Fighter Like a Hot Pilot That You Are
Red Dot Diva thinks this augmented reality experience is going to be a popular one. You can experience going into hyperspeed and flying around Imperial Tie-Fighters as an X-Wing Fighter, before the moon - no, that's no moon! - the Death Star suddenly looms before you.
Besides these activities, there will be chances to shop for Star Wars merchandise, and take photos with characters from the movie.
All these sounds soooo exciting! Vivocity's promotional activities for "The Force Awakens" last year were marvellous, and Red Dot Diva is confident they will do a great job for "Rogue One". She is already planning on taking some time off work to head to Vivocity and get lost in the world of "Rogue One".
