Unbox Your Star Wars Toy Together With Fans Around The Globe - 3 to 4 September!

Star Wars toy collecting fans! This one is specially for you!

Save a date this Force Friday when an epic "The Force Awakens" toy unboxing event will take place around the globe. This is the first time such an event will be carried out live in 15 cities and 12 countries in the span of over 18 hours!

The event kicks off in Sydney, Australia on 3 September, 7:45 AM local time, and then proceed to roll across to Asia, Europe, Canada and North & South America, before ending with a finale at Lucasfilm in San Francisco, 3 September, 8 AM local time.

What's exciting is that a new product will be revealed at each of these 15 cities, and together with the internet celebrities onsite like gamers AlexBy11 and Star Wars fans Chris Pirillo, fans around the world will be able to watch the activities as they unfold on the Star Wars Youtube channel's live stream. In addition, commentators Anthony Carboni and Andi Gutierrez will host the event from the YouTube space, Los Angeles with other YouTube spaces in Berlin, Tokyo and London joining in the live stream.



So, what about the Star Wars fans here, in Red Dot Island? While the island will not be featured in the international event (yet again... Sigh. Why the snub for SE Asian fans, head honcho people?) there will still be a "The Force Awakens" toy unboxing event organized for local toy collectors.

Get set to gather here for the Red Dot Island unboxing party so that the Force will continue to ripple around the millions of people who make up the Star Wars fandom.
