Break Out Your Tridents, Jason Momoa Announced as Guest for AsiaPop Comic Con Manila 2015!

Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for more exciting news for AsiaPop Comicon Manila 2015!

Red Dot Diva has just received news that the very bicepstuous Jason Momoa of "Game of Thrones" and who will be a very sexy Aquaman in the upcoming movie "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", will be heading to AsiaPop Comicon Manila (APCC Manila) 2015! Let's just say Red Dot Diva is very eager to check out the size of his biceps - up close and personal!

Jeremy Shada, the teen talent behind the voice of Flint on Cartoon Network's "Adventure Time" is also set to make his way to Manila for APCC Manila! His band mates from Makeout Monday - brother Zack Shada (vocals), Logan Charles (vocals and rhythm guitar), John Spicer (lead guitar), and Seth Renken (drums) - will be coming along too.

And Red Dot Diva is pretty sure there are more celeb guest announcements on the way!

There will be photo op and autograph sessions. As in other similar conventions, Red Dot Diva anticipates that this might be chargeable and priced at different rates for different celebrities. Sometime to save up and look out, for sure.

On the comic side of things, Filipino veterean artist Whilce Portacio, who has a 30-year history in the business will be making a guest appearance at APCC Manila. Whilce Portacio is noted for his various works in Marvel, DC Comics and was one of the co-founders of Image Comics. For those who love the X-Men series, you would be already aware that Whilce Portacio co-created the character Bishop together with John Byrne and Jim Lee. His well-known works include "The Punisher", "The Uncanny X-Men" and "Spawn".

Collectors of toys and vinyls will have big smiles on their faces when they hear which two toy designer guests will be in Manila. Mixed media artist Amanda Spayd and sculptor/ painter Chris Ryniak are all set to meet their fans at APCC Manila!

Amanda Spayd is the mind and hands behind those eerie, snaggle-toothed rabbit critters figurines called "Dust Bunnies". By using different kind of materials in creative ways, these creatures are hard to forget once you see them. 

Cleveland-based Chris Ryniak is a prolific and imaginative artist who has more than 700 original monsters to his name! His fans look forward daily to his art series of creatures called "Morning Scribbles".

Red Dot Diva mentioned about the CAGE and cosplay competition set to take stage at APCC Manila. Now, the judges of the competition have been announced! They are international prop and costume maker Bill Doran, cosplay superstar Alodia Gosiengfiao, Philippines’ own famous cosplay photographer Jay Tablante, globally known (and loved!) cosplayer VampyBit Me, and actress/model Allison Harvard of America’s Next Top Model Cycle 12 and America’s Next Top Model: All Stars.

Joining them on stage are cosplay stars actress/model/host LeeAnna Vamp and two familiar faces from the Syfy series "Heroes of Cosplay" - Monika Lee and Riki ‘Riddle’ Lecotey.

Phew! This guest announcement is getting too hot for even Red Dot Diva *fanning herself*. Especially considering the already sweltering weather in Red Dot Island.

With even more guest announcements to come soon, she's just hoping that she doesn't decide to swoon and not get up from the floor until APCC Manila weekend.
