*Crack*! Beware the Dominatrix!
Few "CSI" fans (Confession: Red Dot Diva is one) can ever forget the beautiful and enigmatic Lady Heather. The once dominatrix-turned-psychologist/therapist was intelligent, unconventional and a potential love interest to the eccentric Gil Grissom.
Grissom's and Lady Heather's screen chemistry was undeniable. It was engaging to watch them verbally challenge each other about society's as well as their own perceptions and ideas.
Red Dot Diva loved how Lady Heather could somehow connect with Grissom's complicated but still inherently male mindset. Their suggested relationship later turned into some form of deep friendship which was no less special.
A favourite Lady Heather episode for Red Dot Diva was the one where she was battled with grief and rage when she found out that her estranged daughter had been cruelly experimented on and murdered.
Played by the stunning Melinda Clarke, Lady Heather appeared in 5 "CSI" episodes so far and she's set to return for a 6th! The episode entitled “Unleashed” will air in April, and the now Dr Lady Heather will be assisting in a criminal investigation in the BDSM arena.
Red Dot Diva couldn't help letting out a joyous whooop with the news.
With her strikingly expressive green eyes and bodacious curves, it is difficult to take one's eyes off the screen whenever Melinda Clarke appears. To her credit, she truly made Lady Heather a very memorable character of the long-running series.
Melinda is currently playing Amanda, the evil manipulating den mother of The Division in CW's "Nikita". She is also very well-remembered as the hottest mom on "The O.C." - Julie Cooper-Nichol.
Red Dot Diva couldn't help noting that Melinda's role reprisal as Lady Heather in "CSI" has been just one of a few other "character reprisals" in the TV world recently.
Amber Benson will be returning to "Supernatural" as 'reformed' vampire Lenora in episode 19 of the current season. The episode is said to be called "Mommy Dearest". Oh, and it seems Rob Benedict aka Chuck the Prophet may be back too!
Also, it seems that it's really not that easy to kill off a vampire! Allan Hyde will be reappearing in the new season of HBO's Season 4 of "True Blood"as Godric - the dead-undead maker of Sheriff of Area 5, Eric Northman. Whether Godric will appear just in flashbacks or not, Red Dot Diva doesn't really quite know yet. Which do you prefer though?? Godric the ghost? Or historical Godric?
Then, there is the previous glorious Twitter-trending topic of fan favourite Michael Rosenbaum coming back to "Smallville"'s 2-hour series finale in May as Lex Luthor. (Read Red Dot Diva's previous blog on this!)
Is anyone wishing for any other characters to return to their favourite TV Series??! Red Dot Diva is curious!
