They Came, They Saw, They Ate ;)

Red Dot Diva chirps (well actually not quite, she has a pretty low voice.. lol): "WELCOME TO OUR STGCC GUESTS!"

It's only a few hours more, peeps. LESS THAN A DAY to STGCC this weekend! W0000t!

Excited yet???!

The anticipated guests arrived on our Red Dot Island in mini groups since yesterday. It was raining cats and dogs earlier that afternoon but it sure didn't mar the general cheerful spirit of things.

From STGCC's tweets, followers first saw DC Comics' writer Gail Simone arrive at Changi Airport.

Then some of the members from the J Phillips stunt team, followed soon after by (om nom nom) Matt Fraction.

And then in the evening, C.B. Cebulski arrived tired but very hungry. Not to worry. Red Dot Island has food *everywhere*!

So it was to "Glutton's Corner" for some well-deserved first-taste of Red Dot Island dinner nom-noms and some cold beer at the Marina Bay area - only a stone's throw from the Suntec Convention Centre.

Some satays and kangkong belachan were devoured. Follow C.B. Cebulski's twitter for his foodie pics and thoughts.

GnB Comic's very special guest, David Lloyd, arrived later that night, looking all scruffy. For a moment, Red Dot Diva thought he reminded her of Christoph Waltz looking all scruffy-bad as Chudnofsky in the upcoming "Green Hornet" movie.

David had a plateful of activities today (9 December, Thursday). David was guest at Channel News Asia's "Primetime Morning" and he also hosted a talk with students at the Temasek Polytechnic.

Meanwhile, Red Dot Diva heard that it was more local culinary adventures for the DC-Marvel group - hosted by the STGCC organizers and the Singapore Tourism Board. That trip included a final decision on which Katong Laksa should take down the next super-villian.

By the time STGCC ends, Red Dot Diva forsees a generous growth in waistlines.
